President Barack Obama was currently trekking around Alaska in early September 2015, with a selfie stick, documenting his glacier sightseeing adventures, as well as expressing and sharing his climate change views.
“Hi, everybody, we’re at Kenai Fjords National Glacier Park,” he says direct to his monopod camera. “Behind me is one of the most visited glaciers in Alaska, and it is spectacular. As you could see. And we’ve been able to spend the day out here and to learning more about how the glaciers have been receding. It’s a signpost of what’s happening with a changing climate. … This is worth preserving.”
